The Masters in Global Security, Conflict, and Cybercrime offered through the NYU School of Professional Studies Center for Global Affairs (CGA)  prepares you to address the most pressing transnational security issues arising from cybercrime, cyberconflict, and cyberwar. The MS in Global Security, Conflict, and Cybercrime is designed for individuals who seek cyber-related positions across the private sector, public sector, and non-governmental organizations. Our program approaches cyber issues such as disinformation, espionage, and terrorists' use of the emerging technologies and media from a variety of interdisciplinary perspectives. Its full-time and part-time options include courses taught by experienced scholar and practitioner faculty who bring their wealth of knowledge, real-world experience, and networks to the classroom. Through the core curriculum; a choice of specialization courses; and a graduate thesis, team-based capstone project, or virtual internship, students prepare to excel and demonstrate a mastery of the discipline.

The MS in Global Security, Conflict, and Cybercrime is a 36-credit program, which includes three components: a core curriculum of six courses; five specialization courses to be chosen from among 12 courses offered; and either a graduate thesis, capstone project, or virtual cybersecurity internship. The core curriculum is designed to provide you with a deep and broad foundation that supports specialization course work and serves you throughout your career. The program is structured to meet the needs of working professionals and full-time students. Typically, students would be able complete the degree within one-and-a-half years of full-time study, or within two to five years of part-time study.
