MS in Human Capital Analytics and Technology Online Information Session

    The MS in Human Capital Analytics and Technology (HCAT) is an accelerated, 30-credit degree program offered online with a low residency intensive in NYC. This degree is designed for emerging and mid-level professionals (three to five years or more of related experience) who have a strong interest and appreciation for the role of people analytics and technology in business strategy and planning. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to not only research, evaluate, and implement analytical methods and technology, but also to build a narrative around the data for a broad array of stakeholder audiences. Students will also acquire the analytical approaches, technology readiness, business acumen, and communication skills necessary to lead human capital analytics and technology functions.

    To meet the growing needs of business and industries that are requiring evidence-based workforce management and skills optimization, the NYU SPS Division of Programs in Business Human Capital Management Program is introducing the MS in Human Capital Analytics and Technology. The 30-credit degree is designed to prepare well-rounded business analytics professionals with deep expertise in people and organization management.  A comprehensive, well balanced seven-course core curriculum delivers the most current skills in data analysis and automation along with the foundations of behavioral and organization sciences, applied research and essential management skills. Six electives, including an internship option and a required experiential learning capstone, allow for the study and the application of a broad range of applied topics including intelligent automation, the digital workplace, and storytelling with data, as well as current and future trends in human capital analytics and technology.
